In preparation for the Graduate Students Research Conference (GSRC), the Write Site will host a webinar on crafting an effective conference abstract. Designed to support students preparing submissions to the GSRC, the session will:

Explain the key differences between conference abstracts and journal abstracts.

Review and analyze the requirements outlined in the GSRC call for submissions.

Walk through the process of planning, drafting, and refining an abstract.
Participants will also explore examples of successful abstracts from previous conferences to identify what made them effective. By the end of the session, students will have a practical checklist for writing their own abstract and greater confidence in preparing a strong GSRC submission.
